I have been a Cassandra fan for YEARS and I have read the main line of books in the mortal instruments world. I am love all of them but the Chain of Iron, Chain of Thorns and Chain of Gold series may be my very favorite! She never disappoints me but this book really takes the cake. It was just so good from start to finish and it had me on wanting more every time I turned the page. Clare does such a beautiful job of getting you to relate to the characters in the story to where you get attached and invested and even does a great job of getting you to really dislike the not so great characters in the books as well. She has you rooting for people and breaking your heart all at the same time. The lengths she will go to to get you to feel for the characters from start to finish is just unmatched and I am ill forever be a fan of her work! I am sad that this will be the end of the mortal instruments world, but I can't wait to see what world she builds for us next!
