Every Cassandra Clare book makes it so easy to fall right back into the Shadowhunter World and I am always ready for more reasons to revisit this fantastic world! So many of my favorite characters have been created by Clare and reside in her Shadowhunter World! 😊
Chain of Gold introduces new main characters by focusing on the children of The Infernal Devices’ characters. I enjoyed all of the new voices, several of which I met in Ghosts of the Shadow Market. I would highly recommend reading The Infernal Devices series before starting this book though, because many previous events are referenced but not explained. This book is a wonderful start to The Last Hours series despite my being able to figure out several of the plot twists and having a pretty good idea of what will happen going forward. I still give this book 5 stars and am very excited to read the next book!
