If you have ready any of the other shadowhunters books this new addition may bring up a few heart wrenching references. However, even if this is your introduction to the shadowhunters universe it will not leave you disappointed. Clare just know how to keep you on the edge if your seat with a tale of love and deception. The characters are easy to love and their interactions seem so meaningful. Not only is the storyline beautiful but the setting of London In the early 1900's is so captivating. The perfect ambiance for the magical and fantastical tales of Angel's and Demons. As far as Cassandra Clare goes this may become one of my favorite series's by her and I cannot wait for the rest of the novels to be released. Happy reading!
