Yet another good installment in the Shadowhunters Saga! This book goes back in time to after the Infernal Devices. It follows the children of the main characters from that series. Mainly Will and Tessa's children, James and Lucie.
We follow them, and Cordelia Carstairs, on a journey to save their fellow Shadowhunters from a terrible disease. We see as their bond grows and we even get to some some romantic relationships begin to pair up and even fall apart.
The one complaint I do have is that sometimes, unless you're a hardcore fan like my sister, it is really hard to follow the family ties. I do wish Cassandra Clare would include a family tree just for this purpose! However, once you wrap your head around who everybody is, the story comes together beautifully!
