Firstly I should mention I have never read a Cassandra Clare novel, as I’ve haven’t been at all interested in the Shadowhunter world, so you may be wondering why did I read this sampler, and the answer is I didn’t realize this was yet another spin off in the shadowhunter world. Oh well, my bad 🤷🏻♀️
