I am really intrigued by the synopsis and the first chapter! Based on my limited knowledge of the world, it is still really fun to see the family names like Herondale. Cassie's humor and atmospheric writing are present already!
I am not a Cassandra Clare "fan", but I've only read the first few books of The Mortal Instruments series and I want to give The Infernal Devices trilogy as well. I've heard those are her best books and this book is based off that trilogy!
