I absolutely loved this novel from the beginning, especially the camaraderie and light-heartedness among the characters, even when discussing serious and paranormal occurrences like they were all in a day's work. The author provides a lot of family and background material in a light and breezy manner that doesn't weigh down the text, but adds lots of meaningful relationships in these first thirty-eight pages of the novel. This would definitely be a novel I'd be interested in reading!
