Victorian England is one of my favorite time periods and locations, so immediately upon reading this First Look, I was hooked. We have magic, romance, danger, intrigue.
The cast of characters is perfect. I'm dying to know more about what is happening with Elias and why he's on trial. I want to see how the Gentle Giant handles meeting up with his old school bully. What magical powers are lurking, as yet undiscovered, in James' little sister? There are so many things I can't wait to find out!
