I don’t read fantasy a lot, but reading the opening story of this book, instantly makes me wants to join Cordelia and her thrilling, complicated journey in order to save her father from the trial. How the author describe what is Shadowhunter, parabatai, monsters and werewolves, and others magical worlds, it’s clear and enough details, again it was like entering the other side of the world which is full with dark dangerous creatures where the Shadowhunters needs to safely guarded the people from it. I have a feeling that Cordelia’s journey will be very complicated, involves her personal feelings so deep, but she needs to stand on her foot to be brave.
