This is the first in a YA trilogy by popular author Cassandra Clare. Cordelia is a Shadowhunter and is trained to fight demons. When her father is in trouble in London, she and her brother try to save him. However, there is a series of demon attacks and the city is in peril. This is not something that would appeal to me, but those who are fantasy fans would probably enjoy it.
