I have been waiting for this book to come out for what seems like 40 years. I am absolutely obsessed with every aspect of Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunters world and I feel like I can never get enough. Every time she releases a new book, I pre-order or buy it right away because this story and world utterly destroyed me in the best way possible. I want to read more and more and more and I’m glad that I have the opportunity to, very soon.
Also, I love the cover; it’s stUNNING. All of her covers blow me away but this one is particularly breathtaking. It not only captivated my attention but it made me even more anxious to get my hands on this beauty. I cannot wait.
I have especially been anticipating this series because of the characters. Out of all of Cassandra’s books, the clockwork series remains my favorite. I loved the setting, the relationships between Will, Tessa, and Jem, and the intricate plot that kept me wanting more. I am so ready to dive back into this world and learn even more about their descendants through this series. Bring it on, I’m ready.
