Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter world is one that I am familiar with and again she does not disappoint when it comes to building said world. She has a way of showing the unseen world that us normal mundanes would normally not see. I love that we get to see the two different views of the main characters, James Herondale and Cordelia Carstairs. I always enjoy when you get two separate POVs. Just by reading the first couple chapters I am not really sure where this book is going but we do know that it will have something to do with James being able to visit the shadow wold and Cordelia’s fathers fate.
Also I got a good giggle from the line from Lucie Harondale “He gets all pale and moody and stares off out of windows like Keats.” If this is just some of the sass we can expect from the characters I am ready for it.
The cover is beautiful and definitely drew my attention.
