From the start I was sold on the time period. I am sold on anything that is set in in the late 1800's or turn of the century. So this is the first thing that grabbed me about this book. The intro with Lucie is a big grab to pull you into the story. The author grabbed me and made me want to devour the rest of the book to find out where the relationship of these two characters is going to go. The way all of the dialogue is dispersed between details. I can not wait to get my hand on this full book.
