First off, This cover is amazing! If I knew little about the shadowhunting world I would want to read it from the cover alone. My one hesitation with Clare's stories is as follows: she only writes about 3 different families, and that bugs the crap out of me. I know that this is supposed to be a small community, but from reading her previous books, I do know that there are more families then simply the Carstairs, the Herondales, and the Lightwoods. It is just all starting to sound like the same story line! I will probably still read it, but I miss the days when the characters actually felt fresh to me.
