Cassandra Clare was the author who got me into fantasy books. The Mortal Instruments series is my favorite and will always hold a special place in my heart. I love how Cassandra connects all of her series together with the Shadowhunter world! It truly astonishes me, how beautiful each of her books are and how connected I become with each and every character. I am ecstatic for her new series Chain of Gold and after reading the First Look I am hooked. I can't contain my excitement of diving back into the Shadowhunter world. I can't wait to get an even deeper look at the Herondale's and know more of who they are and how they came to be. Also, how can you not look at this beautiful cover and not want it? All of Cassandra's books have the most stunning covers and I love them all so much.
