A good start to a new Shadowhunter series, with Cassandra Clare’s trademark endearing characters, witty banter, and bubbling unease. The introduction of at least one potential love triangle so early on is a little ho-hum, but we’ll see where this goes later. The opening scene in the forest was amazing, and the cover is absolutely gorgeous.
