First of all, what a beautifully designed exterior and interior book cover; the artwork is exquisite. I truly enjoyed this evenly paced story with it's overall detailed descriptions of Italy, it's scenery, people, regions, and the very interesting wine making process and industry history. The slow burning romance and main character storyline is realistic to someone experiencing jolted shifts in their life that forces decisions and awareness about herself and relationships with career, love, family and what is true happiness with deep meaning. A world turned upside down is sometimes the best thing that can happen, and what better place to land in than this Italian region with an inherited estate that opens a whole new life for you! There are not extreme highs and lows in this story, but just enough surprise to make it interesting and realistic. Highly recommended!
