This book is about Erika finding out she had a grandfather who owned a winery in Italy. He passed away and now it all goes to her. She finds out once she arrives that she has to stay five months before she can keep it or sell it. This becomes a problem because she has a life in New York. A wedding to plan, a consulting job and a life she is overall happy with. She decides to do it and this is where her adventure and new start begin.
I have to say I overall really liked the book. I really loved learning about Italy and the wines. The food also sounded so good. I found myself drinking wine while reading this. The story wasn't very consistent in being fast or slow. There was always something going on at all times. Nothing too dramatic it was still an easy and fun read. The writing did feel a little stiff and the begging but got much better as it went on. I would be willing to more of Gudrun Cuillo writing.
