This was the PERFECT summer read. I have never gone out of the US, until I read this book and I traveled to Italy. This book filled my soul and relaxed me. In the beginning, I really didn't like the main character Erika but by the end of the book I literally wanted her life. This book is about self-discovery and the importance of your heritage and being your true self. I felt like I was in Italian paradise and lost myself in the pages where I wondered if Erika and the MMC would end up together. I highly recommend this book to anyone! I looked up flights to Italy halfway through this book because this book made me fall in love with the country, and the simplicity of Italy. I also looked up Italian recipes, and bought olive oil. This book made me so genuinely happy while I was reading it. I highly recommend it to anyone else and honestly I'll be keeping an eye on anything else this author publishes.
