I finally got around to reading this book I won through Bookish First. I could not have loved this book more! The book grabbed me right from the start. Erika is a professional living in New York contemplating marrying her long term boyfriend when she receives notice she’s the heir to her grandfather that she knew nothing about. She travels to Tuscany to see the two vineyards she’s been gifted. The people she meets along the way who are were running the vineyard for her grandfather, make her adjustment to life in Italy a bit easier but she’s initially set on selling the property. There’s a hitch; she has to live on the property for five months before she can sell. Although a bit predictable at times, Erika, Paola, Doris, her friends, Todd and James from New York are quite the cast of characters whom I fell in love with. The book reads like a Hallmark movie but in a good way. Such a sweet escape!
