The cover is really beautiful and the setting of the novel is very evocatively described and seems lovely. However, I wasn't super grabbed by either the premise or the voice of the main character. It's not immediately clear the main character's motivation (why doesn't she seem... happier to be inheriting a vast estate in the beautiful Italian countryside?) or the main central conflict (she seems very ambivalent about her relationship with her fiance) or the mystery (will her parentage or what happened to her grandfather be explored). Based on the first few chapters I feel like this book is not for me.
