Ahhh I really wanted to like this more than I did! The premise sounds right up my alley, I loved the cover, and I love how the entire thing goes into the author’s own life. I think the style of writing threw me off guard: it was incredibly practical without any room for romantic imagery. I hope that changes as the story progresses because there is something here!
