Casalvento: House of the Wind - First Impression

This isn’t like any romance book I’ve read. In the sample it feels like a passive start by rushing through the whole setup to the story. Not much development/information on our main character’s life beyond her wedding date being set after a long engagement and surprise you’re heir to an estate.
