Mystery is not usually my genre, but I'd still give this one a shot :) I think that the cover is OK--like, it neither repels me nor draws me in. It's honestly a bit forgettable. The setting is kinda meh for me too (for other people though, I think that it would be a plus!). Not really into books about the South, and this is a book that I feel like it is going to rest heavily on the location...and South Carolina is just not a place I have any care about
