I like the narrator; his memories are real, and his new experiences with his dad are relatable. Stories of his boyhood interspersed with what is going on today are keeping my attention. Now, there is a missing gun that is sure to play a big part of this story. I can't wait until his mom goes on vacation so we can relax with our narrator and his dad. I hope he finds the gun before it is too late.
