This is definitely a relationship between father and son. When Joey returns home to Beaumont South Carolina he doesn’t expect to see that something is very wrong with his dad. He isn’t the sharp man that Joey remembers. He learns that his dad has Lewy Body Dementia and is slowly forgetting even the simplest things and asking questions repeatedly. His long term memories remain in tact and will probably lead to a lot of nostalgia and memories. This one definitely seems like a tear jerker.
