I don't think I'll read the rest of this book, but the First Look was enjoyable. The writing is fantastic at putting you right in the heart of a place, making you feel like you know it even though you've never been there. The family dynamics certainly seem like they will make a good novel. "Trips to visit family don't count as vacations" - so relatable!
