I got wrapped up in this story from the first page. The characters were easy to relate to and the setting felt so comforting and nostalgic. The story switches so smoothly from relatable family to mystery and it left me wanting to read more. The cover picture has the southern charm of a house on the beach but the color scheme gives the impression of a mystery under the surface.
