I love a Southern Gothic novel, especially set in the swamp or marshy area of Louisiana or South Carolina. The atmosphere becomes a character in and of itself. I also enjoy books that have memory loss/dementia as part of the story line as they bring an extra depth to a mystery. I am looking forward to reading this one!
