Generally, this book seemed good. Like a family drama intertwined with a mystery. The characters seemed solid, but something about the writing style just didn't grab me. I am usually not drawn to books authored by men, and this may what is at play here. Just a personal preference for me. Also, I'm not sure if I'm 100% up for a book that repeats so much dialogue, because one of the characters has memory loss.
