I can’t wait to read this book! Seeing Marshall so happy and laughing about stories, but the despair in Joey’s mother is the perfect juxtaposition. The house as a character itself is brilliant. It’s great how Ruby is interwoven into the stories as a necessary element for the Green’s but the Greens aren’t essential to Ruby. Joey not being able to find the revolver is gripping and makes the pace speed up. Great character development and pacing for development of the plot.
