Joey Green returns to Beaufort, South Carolina to help his mother care for his father in the early stages of dementia. Although the first look has been predominantly character and story building, already the glimmer of mystery shines through.

To me, it seems that there is a lot of information packed into this first 20 pages. There were a couple of times I found it a little hard to follow and had to re-read. Once familiar with the characters and the general happenings of the story, the read got a little smoother.
