The writing reminds me a lot of William Kent Krueger and he is one of my all-time favorite authors. The premise of his dad's memory loss and the fact that his dad's gun is missing is going to make for a very good book and I was so invested in reading it that I was so disappointed when it ended! The writing is so descriptive I felt like I was right there.
