Compelling characters mixed into an absorbing -- and seemingly very realistic -- storyline that is written in sharp, clean prose has surely piqued my interest a lot. I really this excerpt and was sorry to see it end! (Even the dedication page was beautiful and made me smile.) I definitely look forward to reading this novel.
