After reading the synopsis of this novel, I was immediately intrigued by the suspenseful and mysterious aspects of it. The plot sounded very unique and I like that the story takes place in Beaufort, South Carolina, with the main character Joey Green having to return there to look after his father, who is suffering from dementia. However, Joey's father's old memories are coming back, and this will have far reaching effects on the characters of the novel. I am looking forward to learning where the story goes, because it seems very promising. The cover of Carolina Moonset is also very beautiful and sets a nice tone for the novel.
