From the synopsis, it seems like a typically mystery / thriller book where a main character has to return to their childhood hometown to take care of their parent(s), and when they arrive all the demons from their past that they tried to escape start crawling back and haunting them. I probably won't pick this up, but the first look was intriguing and well-written so I hope those that do enjoy it.
