This author definitely has a way with words. I was immediately aware of how beautiful and lyrical the writing was. Unfortunately, I don’t intentionally read sad books very often and I think this has the potential to be a sad one. With the lead character’s dad having dementia I think it’s bound to be a pretty heavy story. That said, I have nothing but compliments for the way this excerpt is written.
