As for the cover, I think it is underwhelming, it would be easy to pass this up at the library or store. The summary makes this sound like a sad read, with dementia and family issues being the underling premises. I would be interested in reading about the mystery and family drama, but what makes me wonder about this one is the 1) pace and writing style and 2) the extent to which this would depress the heck out of me. Either way, it's not something I would add immediately to TBR but something I could read someday.
