This was my first BookishFirst win. A fun new book club. I enjoyed the story. Henry and Effie are honeymooning at Cape May, a resort on the Ocean. They start to get bored because they came in the off-season. Then, they wander down the street and find an old friend of Effie's. Everything heats up sexually with their new friends. They drink a lot and play interesting games. There is much angst, jealousy and a ton of lust. I personally felt this novel was rather R-rated with a capital "R". You keep reading because you can't imagine how this newlywed couple will stay together. All the characters seem very real, many of them pretty brave to do some illegal house snooping. Henry seems to suffer from being fickle with his women and Effie has quite the temper. This is definitely not your typical love story!
