This book will be difficult to review but I am settling on 4 stars. As far as a review, I am not sure which genre into which this book falls. Women’s fiction? But it is written by a man. Not romance. It reminded me a bit of the arrangement.
I picked this booker based in the setting and the preview of that I saw. I was surprised by its sexiness especially given the author’s blunt writing. Things played out in a way that was both unexpected but yet predicted. I especially enjoyed the last chapter as a final overview. The writing focused on a class of cultures and morals. I read this in a few hours as I was drawn in and didn’t want to put it down. My favorite character was Clara who was not central to the storyline.
