I was excited to try this new to me author. The story of a young couple, shy and maybe a little naive, on their honeymoon off-season at a family home in Cape May. There they are quickly drawn into the lives of a much more vibrant couple they meet. The author did a good job of gradually building the change in the characters of Henry and Effie until they were transformed and behaving in ways even they never could have imagined. Reader warning there is a fair amount of explicit sexual activity, so not for a younger audience. While this is not the book I would typically pick off the shelf, I appreciate the good character development and found it a nice read, just maybe a little racer than I normally read.
