I love the flash back to the time long ago. I wasn’t alive then but it intrigues me. A young married couple on their honeymoon. They are learning about each other and the way their marriage will progress. They are staying at her aunts place which is very different than she remembers. She always visited in the summer at the height of the summer. Cape May is busy and bustling. Now it is late September and off season. There are not many people around and places are closed up until next summer. The couple are determined to make the best of their 2 week honeymoon. A large portion of the book is their sex life. They are learning about each other. It is both of their first times and is awkward but are getting to know each other.
