it's been a while since i have "devoured" a book. Cape May by Chip Cheek is a must read while on your summer vacay. i love the love that Henry and Effie shared during the first tender days of their honeymoon. it was so fresh and so new. when they discovered that they were not alone in the quiet town on break, that they had neighbors up the street, it was obvious as to what was about to happen. but it was not even close to the way i thought it would happen. i almost believe alma had the plan of ruination of the newlyweds in her head from the start, and she said that much clearly. her plan was genius, making an empty house on the street he love den. i am sad that the book is done and will remember Henry, Effie, Alma, Clara and Max whenever i am near the water. Great book!
