Historical Fiction is one of my absolute favorite genres. And if you include some turbulent relationships I'm sold! I really enjoyed the author's smooth writing style and the beautiful atmosphere he's set in Cape May. I could tell almost from the beginning that the young newlyweds, Effie and Henry were looking for something outside of their marriage and each other's company. Whether it be entertainment, the company of others, or something far less innocent remains to be seen. I already don't trust Clara though. The cover is beautiful and inviting. I can't wait to finish this one!
