I like the time period this novel takes place in, a time when the world moves a little more slowly and people are more likely to dance to the radio than check their phones. I also like Effie and Henry, although I could stand to know less about Henry's gas and constipation. I think I see where this is going, taking an Ozzie and Harriet type couple and leading them into temptations. While it's well written, I'm not sure that it's going to be my cup of tea.
