As a reader of many books, I look at the cover and if it intrigues me I will take it into consideration, "Call of the Raven" does that. I hardly ever read the jacket flats but would rather dive right into the meat of the book. Wilbur Smith can grab you from the start, as always, my only regret now is the long wait for the release of the latest, to read the complete work.
