What a unique romance story. I'm not sure if I like the main character but I'm absolutely rooting for him and his sweetheart. A plantation owner's son falling in love with a slave, and having to come back from his father's murder and the plantation's foreclosure all while trying to save the woman he loves when society says he isn't allowed to love her. I cannot wait for this book!
