I honestly did not expect to like Wilbur Smith and Corban Addison's. "Call of the Raven". The cover didn't grab me, and as I began the book the parts before the actual text convinced me, rather hastily, that I wouldn't like the novel. I persisted though and I'm glad I did. "Call of the Raven" is compelling, intriguing, and well written. It's worth the read.
