I try to read outside my typical genres but this isn't really piquing my interest enough to compel me to do that in this case. I'm not sure if it's because it's connected to a pre-established series or if the short, choppy sentences didn't appeal to me but I don't think I'll pick this one up again. The cover doesn't do much to stand apart from the pack.
