The graphic of the plantation burning was the first thing that drew me in, I saw it and thought 'This is going to be a good one.' but the title remains mysterious, 'What does 'The Call of the Raven' mean?' I read the plot summary and wanted to read this book from start to finish. It's got all the makings of a good novel : Revenge, lost fortunes, and intrigue. I want to see how Augustus's revenge is played out, and how does it get to the point of the burning plantation on the cover. I'm hooked!
